The Cheptingting Spring Project Management Committee (PMC) met with the Climate Change Unit (CCU) team to assess the ongoing FLLoCA-funded water work, now 70% complete.
In a tour to the project site, the team reviewed the construction progress and identification of any potential bottlenecks.
Discussions centred on the quality of the implemented infrastructure, adherence to the project’s ambitious timeline, and effective community participation.
The CCU provided expert technical guidance, emphasizing long-term sustainability.
The PMC reiterated the community’s pressing need for reliable water, expressing optimism about the significant strides made.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration, ensuring the remaining 30% of the project is completed efficiently to bring much-needed water access to Cheptingting.
