The Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) is established to:
- Address community grievances and concerns related to the FLLoCA Program.
- Ensure transparency and accountability during the implementation of projects and programs among relevant stakeholders, including project beneficiaries.
- Resolve any emerging environmental and social grievances in project areas.
- Promote positive relations between project implementers, executors, and beneficiaries.
Additionally, the GRM aims to enhance citizens’ and beneficiaries’ ownership and participation in the project. It also serves as a valuable feedback and learning mechanism to help improve project outcomes.
Steps in Addressing Grievances:
The mandate of the GRM encompasses budgeting, expenditure management, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance with financial regulations.
